Don Ohsman is a full-time trader of North American Hides and he is the President of Hidenet Publications. Upon graduation from the University of Denver in 1962, he entered his families hide business started by his grandfather in 1891. He has been producing weekly market reports since 1975. As an active trader in hides, skins, wet blue and splits, Don is in continual contact with every major and many smaller American producers. He is also communicating on a regular basis with a large number of Asian and domestic tanners. He is the writer of the US daily and weekly Hidenet market reports and a regular contributor to Leather magazine. Don is currently writing a weekly report titled World Leather Report for FashionNetAsia.com.
