Bangladesh: Garment markers gets cash incentives for new export markets

Bangladesh apparel makers will now get five percent cash incentive on their export earning from government's announced stimulus package for exporting readymade garments at new global markets other than the US, UAE and Canada.

They will also enjoy zero annual renewable license fees facilities for their captive power generators as the government has waived Taka five lakh annual license fee for their generators as per the announced stimulus package, which has been decided earlier.

Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith made this announcement after a meeting of Task Force formed on stimulus package this year. A government order in this regard will be circulated from the Ministry of Finance within two days, he said.
