China Leather Industry Association (CLIA) will allocate additional funds to encourage Chinese leather technicians to attend international academic conferences and events.

This is in order to make them better informed with all the latest research in the international leather industry.

Meanwhile, the Association will offer additional funding to professors or scholars, who take part in conferences related to industrial standards.

The CLIA will also increase the amount of scholarships to college students and students in technical schools in order to encourage more talented students to work for the leather industry.
