Europe: Luxury drives PPR growth

PPR's luxury division posted growth of 11.9 per cent in the third quarter, boosted by strong sales from Yves Saint Laurent (YSL).

The group recorded revenues of €2.6 billion (£2.1 billion), up 6.6 per cent on a comparable basis.

The growth was attributed to strong performance of the group's absolute luxury brands YSL and Bottega Veneta, which climbed by 27 and 21 per cent respectively, as the sport and lifestyle market remains subdued.
