It is an old axiom that a chain is only as strong as its weakest link and this is nowhere so true as in branding. Time and again from banking to petroleum we have seen famous global brands getting into trouble when just one element does not match the brand promise. LeatherNaturally! is a members organisation supported by the contributions of tanners and others involved in leather to support the Brand Leather as a natural sustainable material.
During the All China Leather Exhibition the lead spokesman for the Leather Naturally! initiative, Mike Redwood, gave an update on the latest developments in the research behind the campaign to promote and defend leather, as well as educating consumers, fashion schools and designers about it.
According to the leading news web site Leathermag stakeholders and other interested parties met at the All China Leather Exhibition in China to outline the initial results of the research work carried out so far and to recruit new members.
